Slow Down Cut Spiral

3/8"SH, 3/8"CD, 1"CL

Product Description

Materials: Natural woods, composites, hard plastics

Recommended RPM: 16,000-18,000 (max 24,000)

These bits are very versatile for use in cutting through hard woods, plastics, and even materials such as solid surface counter tops. The slow spiral design is meant for better chip ejection in hard materials. The down cut spiral design provides the best top surface edges, ejecting chips away from the router when routing through material. This design also decreases the tendency to lift thin/small work pieces during CNC routing.

  • TOOL SPECS: Solid carbide, down cut slow spiral with 3/8" cutting diameter, 3/8" shank, 1" cutting length, and 2-1/2" overall length for use in routers with a 3/8" collet.
  • DOWN CUT SLOW SPIRAL: Ideal for achieving a clean, smooth top surface, especially when working with plywood, laminates, and veneer, ensuring flawless finishes on delicate materials.
  • HIGH FEEDS: The three-flute design enables higher feed rates, increasing cutting efficiency and productivity for faster results, especially on CNC machines.
  • DOWN CUT: Perfect for creating shallow grooves in thin materials, delivering precise and clean cuts for fine woodworking projects.
  • HELIX: The helix on the cutting edge creates a shearing action for clean, crisp cuts, delivering superior performance compared to standard straight bits.
  • STABILITY: Great for holding thin sheets or small pieces in place during CNC routing operations, ensuring precision and stability. Ejects chips away from the router when cutting through material.
